Dancing with the Stars pros Emma Slater and Alan Bersten are reportedly "hooking up" behind the scenes.

According to a source, Emma, 35, and Alan, 30, have been "hooking up" but the romance is "not new," Us Weekly reported.

The source shared that Emma and Alan's relationship is "ongoing" but they haven't decided to go public with it yet.

Dancing with the Stars fans began speculating Emma and Alan are more than just friends when a photo surfaced on X of the pair holding hands while walking next to each other earlier this month.

Emma was previously married to fellow Dancing with the Stars pro Sasha Farber, 40.

Emma and Sasha got married in March 2018 and went on to have an on-again, off-again relationship for more than 10 years.

But Emma filed for divorce from Sasha in late February 2023 after four years of marriage. The pro dancer cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split, and she had listed April 1, 2022 as the date of her separation from Sasha.

Emma and Sasha finalized their divorce in May.

Emma, Alan and Sasha are all participating in Dancing with the Stars' currently-airing 33rd season.

Emma and her celebrity partner, Reginald VelJohnson, were eliminated during the show's third episode, and Sasha and partner Jenn Tran were just ousted from the competition on Tuesday, October 29.

Alan -- who was most recently linked to his Dancing with the Stars Season 27 partner Alexis Ren -- and partner Ilona Maher, however, are still in the running to win the Dancing with the Stars mirrorball trophy.

While many fans would probably assume it's difficult for Emma and Sasha to work together and see each other all the time on Dancing with the Stars -- especially amid rumors Jenn and Sasha were dating -- Emma assured Us in June that they're actually really "close friends" still.

"He's somebody who's in my life forever. It's a true genuine connection and he's the best person, just absolutely amazing. We just get on really, really well," Emma told Us.

Emma pointed out how a mutual respect is the driving force behind the pair's amicable relationship post-divorce.

But Emma claimed at the time she wasn't ready to fully put herself back out there and begin dating again.

"I'm still really happy just dating myself, honestly," shared Emma, who said she was focusing on her career and would love to move into a hosting role at some point in the near future.

"I'm in such a good place of not really needing to be with anybody that I'm not worried about it. I'm good."

Emma previously shared on "The Viall Files" in August 2023 how she and Sasha were "still like family" after their split.

"It isn't even really that the love is not there; it's actually not that at all," Emma said of Sasha.

"We're just potentially in two different places, but the hard part was that the love actually didn't go [away]. We still have that."

Emma told Season 21 The Bachelor star Nick Viall, "It's really the kid thing," that broke them up.

Emma explained the real reason for ending her marriage was because she wasn't ready to start a family yet -- but Sasha apparently wanted to try for a baby soon.

"It's very interesting because I do want to have kids; I just don't want to delay Sasha's path in having kids, because I think -- well, I know -- that he is ready for that," Emma shared at the time.

She added, "It's not something I take lightly, and I don't want to enter into something that I'm not sure about, because I just would never do that."

While Emma said she and Sasha "did have" conversations about family planning throughout the course of their relationship, she said she felt "a resistance" in life and needed to get to the bottom of why she was feeling that way.

"So, that's been the real friction and that's been the real hard part," Emma admitted.

"It really had nothing to do with him. He's always been very much himself. It's really me that's been the person who has found it difficult to understand, 'Why am I suddenly feeling different?' It was even a sudden thing, it was a gradual thing. And it's something I just had to deal with."

Emma said navigating life after her split from Sasha was "really weird" and "really confusing."

At the time, Emma said her "ideal" partner would be a tall British blonde man with blue eyes.

When Nick pointed out how that's the total opposite of Sasha's physical appearance, Emma laughed and said Sasha is "gorgeous" but her "vision" for her next romance was simply different.

Emma also revealed how she'd like her next relationship to be more private.

Emma and Sasha met in 2009 while performing on Broadway's "Burn The Floor" and they began dating in 2011. The pair broke up once before in 2014.

During that 2014 break, Emma told Glamour, "I don't think we're supposed to finish together."

"I think there are other people that might make us both individually happy, but I'm always going to be his best friend," she elaborated. "It has just happened in the way we have gone from a beautiful three-year relationship, which I love and cherish, to best friends."

Emma and Sasha eventually got back together and then Sasha proposed marriage to the blonde beauty in 2016. The former couple tied the knot in a "fairy tale" wedding in Los Angeles two years later.

Speculation the pair had split surfaced in early 2022 when they stopped posting about each other on Instagram.

And then in August of that year, both Emma and Sasha were spotted without their wedding rings and seemed to be spending a lot of time apart.

A source told Us at the time that the pro dancers had "a tough decision" to make about their future because they had "been together for so long" and "really care" about each other.
