Dancing with the Stars' semifinals featured a double elimination in which TV star and model Trevor Donovan and CODA actor Daniel Durant were both sent packing during the Season 31 episode Monday night on Disney+.

Trevor and his professional partner Emma Slater were automatically eliminated after receiving the lowest combined total of judges' scores and viewer votes that were cast live throughout the two-hour episode.

"Every pro here is absolutely amazing. I got teamed up with Emma for whatever reason, but it was destined that we came together. I could not have done this without her. I absolutely adore her," Trevor said in his final words.

Daniel and pro partner Britt Stewart were then ousted by Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli instead of the other bottom-three couple, drag queen and former RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Shangela Wadley and pro partner Gleb Savchenko.

Following Trevor and Emma's exit, Dancing with the Stars' judges were tasked with saving one of the other bottom-three couples and sending the other couple home. Len, as the head judge, would break a tie if necessary.

The judges unanimously voted to save Shangela and Gleb, ousting Daniel and Britt from the Season 31 competition.

Prior to the elimination portion of the evening, each of the six remaining celebrity and professional pairings danced two full dances -- a ballroom routine and a Latin routine.

Two celebrities tied for first place at the top of the judges' leaderboard with a total perfect score of 80 points: TikTok and The D'Amelio Show star Charli D'Amelio as well as The Bachelorette star Gabby Windey.

Charli and pro partner Mark Ballas first danced a Viennese waltz that received a perfect score of 40 points from the judges.

"That was perfection on top of perfection, and it was just so open and so powerful!" Carrie Ann cried, adding how Mark and Charli definitely brought emotional expression to the dance floor and it was "beyond spectacular."

Len said the dance took his breath away and there weren't enough words to explain how good it was.

"I really believe this: you are the first celebrity to really look like a ballroom dancer. I mean that," Derek added.

And Bruno said the performance will probably go down in Dancing with the Stars history as the best Viennese waltz ever.

Charli and Mark followed that up with another perfect-scoring routine, a paso doble that received another 40 points from the judges.

Carrie Ann said Charli's perfection is at a different, unbelievable and mind-blowing level, and Derek said Charli had exceptional moments every single week and her paso doble was "iconic."

Gabby and pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy first took the dance floor with a 40-point worthy waltz.

Derek noted how Gabby's performance was "flawless," and Bruno said it looked like Gabby and Val stepped right out of a dream.

Carrie Ann could also tell Gabby had stripped down her walls for this performance and she showed a new grace and human side to herself.

Gabby and Val then performed a paso doble, which earned the couple an additional 40 points.

Derek said Gabby sold the performance with drama, attack and power, and Bruno was so excited that he ripped his shirt open.

"I've never seen you dance with so much ferocity and so much intensity! Thank you for uncaging the beast!" Carrie Ann gushed.

Third place also represented a tie at 73 total points between Shangela and Gleb as well as actor and Broadway star Wayne Brady and pro partner Witney Carson.

Wayne and Witney's first dance was a paso doble that received 36 points from the judges.

Len said he saw good posture, strong shapes and aggressive moment in the paso doble, but he apparently noticed a little stumble towards the end. Derek also pointed out how Wayne's body was "too angular."

Wayne and Witney's second dance was a Viennese waltz, for which the judges scored 37 points.

Bruno called Wayne "a showman" and "master storyteller," although he and Derek thought Wayne could have perfected his technique a bit more. Carrie Ann, however, disagreed with the men, saying Wayne gave the performance everything he had.

Shangela and Gleb also earned a total of 73 points, which included 36 points for their paso doble and 37 points for their Viennese waltz.

After Shangela and Gleb performed their paso doble, Carrie Ann said it's so easy to love Shangela because he never dances with fear.

And Len said he liked how the routine was high energy and "totally committed." But Bruno and Derek noted a little mistake at the end.

When critiquing the pair's Viennese waltz in the second round of competition, Bruno said he loved how Shangela showed his vulnerability this time around, and Carrie Ann actually stood up and bowed down to Shangela.

Len, however, noted how Shangela's head was awkwardly placed at times.

Daniel and Britt finished the night in fifth place on the judges' leaderboard with a total of 69 points.

Daniel and Britt initially danced a Viennese waltz that earned 35 judges' points.

Bruno thought the Viennese waltz was "absolutely fantastic" and Daniel had sailed across the dance floor.

Carrie Ann, who was brought to tears, called the performance "very special," but Len thought the routine was "a little skippy" and lacked finesse.

Daniel and Britt then took the dance floor with a samba, which received 34 more points from the judges.

Derek said the performance had a lot of content in it and he was "in awe" of Daniel's technique. Carrie Ann also gushed about how Daniel had "swagger" during a difficult dance.

And finally, Trevor and Emma landed in sixth -- and last -- place on the judges' leaderboard with a total of 65 judges' points.

Trevor and Emma's first dance was a cha cha that received 32 points from the judges.

Len said Trevor's dancing was improving week to week and he liked the sharpness and crispiness of the cha cha; however, he said the routine lacked a little rhythm at times and the footwork was "hit and miss."

Trevor and Emma followed that up with a 33-point worthy Viennese waltz.

Len said the routine could have flowed a little better and was a bit skippy, but the judges agreed it was a great dance and Trevor should've been proud of it. Carrie Ann also said Trevor and Emma's partnership was "spectacular."

Dancing with the Stars' Season 31 finale will stream next week on Disney+.
