Celebrity and professional two-steppers featured on both past and current editions of  Dancing with the Stars will be waltzing to a city near you this summer, as ABC announced the summer tour dates and locations for the second season of Dancing with the Stars - The Tour.

The 24-city North American tour will kick-off on Wednesday, June 20 and will conclude on Tuesday, July 24 in Vancouver, British Columbia, with tickets for all shows going on sale Friday, May 11.

"Dancing With The Stars reintroduced American audiences to ballroom dancing and it was a thrilling challenge for us to deliver it live on tour to fans of all ages," said Debra Rathwell, senior vice president of AEG LIVE, which is co-producing the tour. "Our first tour saw record audiences and standing ovations at each show and judging from this remarkable second ensemble cast, we're about to deliver another can't miss show."

The second cast of Dancing With The Stars - The Tour features an ensemble of the show's competitors, including Season 4 front-runners Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson; Season 2 champs Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke; Season 3 runner-ups Joey Lawrence and Edyta Sliwinska; Season 1's Joey McIntyre and Julianne Hough; as well as professional dancers Alec Mazo and Louis Van Amstel.  They will be accompanied by a live orchestra.

In addition, the tour will be choreographed by Van Amstel with Dancing with the Stars' judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who's serving as creative director.  After being paired with a celebrity partner during Dancing with the Stars' first three seasons on ABC, Van Amstel was not included in the fourth installment's cast of professional dancers.  While the 5' 8" Van Amstel had claimed his absence was due to the fact that all of the fourth season's female celebrities were all taller than him, Access Hollywood had reported that a "source close to Dancing with the Stars" had told it that Van Amstel was omitted because he'd "turned into a complete diva" during the last tour" -- a claim that, given his return for the tour's second season, would appear to have been untrue.

Each two-hour show on the tour will recreate the ABC reality competition series' actual stage for the audience, using "intimate nightclub style table seating" on the floor.  Featuring both celebrity group and solo dances -- along with sets from the professional dancers -- the show will also incorporate never-before-seen rehearsal footage and exclusive interviews and out takes.

Along with AEG LIVE, Dancing with the Stars - The Tour is produced by BBC Worldwide and Frontline Management Group.  Addition information is available on the tour's dancingwiththestars.aeglive.com website.  Dates, venues and locations for this summer's Dancing with the Stars - The Tour are:
