Ward and Macchio each received 36 out of 40 possible points and finished tied for first place on the judges' leaderboard during Monday night's seventh performance show, which featured ballroom dance legend Donnie Burns joining Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli as a guest judge and the competition's six remaining couples performing both an individual routine and an additional "team dance."

Ward danced a tango with professional partner Kym Johnson, while Macchio performed a quickstep with partner Karina Smirnoff.

In addition, each couple also earned an additional 30 out of 40 possible points during the "team dance" round, which featured the six couples being divided into two teams and performing cha cha dances that received identical 30-point scores from the judges -- giving them 66 total points.

Macchio and Smirnoff performed their group cha cha with Disney Channel star Chelsea Kane and partner Mark Ballas as well as rapper Romeo and partner Chelsie Hightower.

Kane and Ballas finished in third place on the leaderboard with 64 total points after they performed a paso doble that received 34 points from the judges.

Wilkinson and van Amstel placed fourth on the judges' leaderboard with 61 total points.  In addition to the 30 points from their "team dance," they also performed a tango which received 31 points.

Romeo and Hightower tied with Alley and Chmerkovskiy for fifth -- and last -- place on the judges' leaderboard with 60 total points after they performed individual dances that received 30 points each.

Romeo and Hightower performed a samba, while Alley and Chmerkovskiy danced a jive.
