VH1 has announced it's renewed Dating Naked for a second season.

With the first season having averaged about a million total viewers, the series is set to return. Dating Naked, which premiered July 17, boasts the highest matchmaking success rate of 60% compared to its reality dating show competitors.

In fact, participants Ashley Fonda, a 27-year-old artist, and Alika Medeiros, a 36-year-old yoga instructor, wed in a non-traditional ceremony at a botanical garden in Los Angeles on August 6. Their nuptials will air on Dating Naked: The Wedding special Thursday, September 18 at 9PM ET/PT.

"Dating Naked has been a ratings success for us and a viewer favorite," VH1 executive Susan Levison said in a statement. "VH1 has always been about shaping the cultural conversation and we're so glad to have created another pop culture lightning rod. The show is funny, engaging, and it actually works -- we've helped 6 couples find love this season. You're welcome, America."

"We couldn't be happier to be producing a second season of Dating Naked," added Howard Schultz, the president of Dating Naked's production company Lighthearted Entertainment.

"The show has turned out to be everything we had hoped for: inspiring, funny and illuminating, and we are thrilled that viewers have embraced it. VH1 has been incredibly supportive throughout development, production and promotion and we thank them for this vote of confidence."

Dating Naked is a one-hour weekly series that is filmed in a remote exotic location. Each episode features a man and a woman going on three naked dates, which includes one date with each other. The broadcasts conclude with the romance seekers analyzing their experiences and determining whether they'd like to move forward with a certain dating partner.
