Dawson Coyle lost his Battle to Aliyah Moulden on The Voice, but he still won at the end of the day.

Blake declared Aliyah the winner of the Battle, but Dawson was then stolen by Alicia Keys, who told the 18-year-old artist he'd have his "own world" on her team since there's no one else like him.
"[Being stolen] was a crazy, awesome surprise," Dawson told Reality TV World during a Wednesday conference call.
"I wasn't expecting it, but the best part was I wanted Alicia from the get-go, and Aliyah wanted Blake from the get-go. So, it was this thing where it was like we both kind of won, completely won! So I'm just so grateful that I'm on 'Team Alicia' now."
Alicia told Dawson that she felt an energy about him that was "pure and strong." She also laughed about how ladies who watch The Voice will probably "eat him up alive" since he's so charming and cute.
But it wasn't easy for Blake to let Dawson go.
"I'm so grateful that I got to work with Blake, and now getting to work with Alicia is just amazing," Dawson noted.
Also during the call, Dawson talked to reporters about what he learned on Blake's team that he will apply when competing on behalf of Alicia's team down the road.
"Yeah, [I learned] just not to sell myself short, and to give it all that I have and not say that I can't do something. I need to keep pushing myself," Dawson explained.
"And I feel like Alicia is very earthy. She's very down to earth, and she can really bring the best out of me emotionally. And then Blake kind of brings out the best in me professionally, singing. So I kind of feel like I got the best of both worlds with this [result], and I'm just going to take what both of them have to say to heart and just roll with it."
Dawson called his journey on The Voice so far simply "awesome."
