Deadliest Catch won for the unstructured reality show, while Shark Tank took home the structured program award.
Deadliest Catch beat out fellow nominees Alaska: The Last Frontier, Flipping Out, Million Dollar Listing New York, Wahlburgers, and Wild Things With Dominic Monaghan.
Shark Tank defeated Antiques Roadshow; Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives; MythBusters; Undercover Boss; and Who Do You Think You Are?.
Last year, CBS' Undercover Boss had won the only Outstanding Reality Program award for the second year in a row.
In addition, NBC's Hollywood Game Night host Jane Lynch won Outstanding Host For A Reality or Reality-Competition Program. This marked the eighth year the award was presented.
Lynch won the Outstanding Host award over the following nominees: Betty White's Off Their Rockers' Betty White, Dancing with the Stars' Tom Bergeron, Project Runway's Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, So You Think You Can Dance's Cat Deeley; and The Taste's Anthony Bourdain.
Klum and Gunn had jointly walked away with the hosting award last year, which was a departure from either Survivor host Jeff Probst or Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron winning the honor.
Shark Tank's sixth season will premiere with a two-hour episode on Friday, September 26 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
Deadliest Catch's tenth season concluded earlier this month on the Discovery Channel.
