Following Dean's elimination from The Bachelorette's thirteenth season during Monday night's broadcast, Bachelor in Paradise's official Twitter account confirmed some big news on Tuesday, July 18.
"We are excited to announce that @dean_unglert's journey to find love will continue in Paradise! #BachelorInParadise," Bachelor in Paradise tweeted.
"I think that in the back of our head we all kind of want to find the one," Dean told E! News about his decision to participate in Bachelor in Paradise.
"So if this is another opportunity then better...but I was just more sold on the fun experience that we could have in Paradise. I think we all had a good amount of fun. I'll be excited to see it all play back."

"I had some time to clear my head and move on [from Rachel]," he added, noting that Bachelor in Paradise began filming about "a month and a half" after his time on The Bachelorette concluded.
Dean, a 26-year-old startup recruiter from Venice, CA, was dumped by Rachel, a 32-year-old attorney from Dallas, TX, in fourth place behind Eric Bigger, Bryan Abasolo and Peter Kraus.
Dean is definitely a fan-favorite bachelor, as he came across very sweet and genuine on The Bachelorette, not to mention he's handsome and has a killer smile.
Dean also pulled at viewers' heartstrings during his hometown visit in Aspen, CO, considering he had a tough upbringing after his mother passed away from breast cancer when he was 15-years-old.
Dean had been estranged from his father -- a converted Kundalini yogi who goes by the name Paramroop, meaning "divinely beautiful" -- for two years prior to the date his hometown visit filmed.

Bachelor in Paradise's fourth season is set to premiere with a two-night event on Monday, August 14 at 8PM ET/PT and Tuesday, August 15 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC. Both episodes will be two hours long.
Over the course of six weeks, viewers will watch fan-favorite The Bachelor and The Bachelorette contestants receive a second -- or even a third -- chance to find love in Mexico.
"Viewers will watch as they fall in love or go through renewed heartbreak," the network teased last week.
Bachelor in Paradise was initially scheduled to debut on August 8, but filming was suspended in June after a producer filed a complaint alleging misconduct in regards to a drunken hookup between cast members DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios.
Since both cast members had been drinking heavily that day, consent to the sexual encounter was in question.

Warner Bros. therefore launched an investigation while production was shut down but found no evidence of misconduct or sexual assault, so taping quickly resumed.
The previously-announced Season 4 cast will all be a part of this summer's edition, including Raven Gates, Amanda Stanton, Kristina Schulman, Robby Hayes, Ben Zorn and Vinny Ventiera. Additional bachelors and bachelorettes will be formally announced by ABC at a later date.
