Denise has announced she's returning to reality TV television, as she'll be starring on Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

After Bravo producer Andy Cohen tweeted on Wednesday that he's "very excited to welcome" Denise to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Denise replied, "Thank you!! Thrilled to be part of this wild journey."

"I am so excited to join the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as I am a huge fan of the show," the 47-year-old ex-wife of Charlie Sheen confirmed to Us Weekly in a statement.

"I am looking forward to spending time with all the ladies -- and hopefully meeting Boy George!"

The Boy George reference stems from the fact fellow cast member Dorit Kemsley's husband, Paul "P.K." Kemsley, is the musician's manager and close friend.

Denise will be joining veteran Housewives Dorit, Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, and Teddi Mellencamp on Season 9 of the Bravo reality series, which is expected to premiere later this year, according to Us.

Reports swirled in July that Denise was in talks to star on the next season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

A source told the magazine at the time that Denise was nearing a deal with Bravo and filming had yet to begin.

The former model and actress has expressed her desire to appear on the series for quite some time now.

Back in 2011, she was reportedly asked whether she'd ever consider the gig, and she enthusiastically responded, "Heck yeah, I would! It's one of my favorite shows!"

Denise previously starred on her own reality series called Denise Richards: It's Complicated, which aired for two seasons from 2008 to 2009 on E!.

Denise has two children with her ex, Charlie: Daughters Sam, 14, and Lola, 13. Long after ending her four-year marriage to Charlie in 2006, Denise adopted a third daughter named Eloise, now 7, in 2011.
