Discovery Channel has announced it will air a Pitchmen marathon in memory of Billy Mays, the infomercial star who passed away suddenly on Sunday morning at the age of 50.

The Pitchmen marathon will air on Wednesday, July 1 beginning at 11AM ET/PT and include all 11 previously broadcast episodes of the reality series.  The marathon will culminate with Discovery Channel airing Pitchmen's never-before-seen first-season finale at 10PM ET/PT.

Tribute promos honoring Mays -- including never-before-aired moments -- will also air during the 12-episode marathon.

In addition, Discovery Channel is organizing a "special tribute show" for Mays and additional details will be provided as memorial plans are determined, according to the network.

Mays, best known for his affiliation with OxiClean, was found unresponsive by his wife on Sunday morning at his Tampa home and was subsequently pronounced dead at 7:45AM.

Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Vern Adams stated on Monday that the likely cause of death was heart disease, however final autopsy results will not be known for eight to 10 weeks.

Pitchmen, which premiered on Discovery in April, follows Mays and fellow master marketer Anthony "Sully" Sullivan as they attempt to sell various inventions and products via infomercials in test markets to see if the commercial is ready for the mass public.

Discovery Channel has yet to make a decision on renewing Pitchmen for a second season, as the network is instead "focused on supporting Mays' family and friends during this time of incredible loss."
