Discovery Channel has announced Dirty Jobs will return with eleven new fourth-season episodes beginning Tuesday, October 7 at 9PM ET/PT.

Some of the unpopular and unpleasant professions Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe will take on will include tar rigging, sheep castrating, maggot farming, dirty chip making and abandoned mine shaft plugging

Beginning October 14, Dirty Jobs' new episodes will also serve as the lead-in for Toughest Race on Earth: Iditarod, a new six-episode reality series that will follow seven of the mushers and sled dog teams that competed in this year's Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.

In addition to Dirty Jobs' return and Iditarod's premiere, Discovery also announced that Prototype This, a new series where an expert team will try to create prototypes of new ideas, will premiere on Wednesday, October 15 at 10PM ET/PT and Storm Chasers' second season will debut on Sunday, October 19 at 10PM ET/PT.
