Hosted by actor Mitchel Musso, PrankStars will feature hidden camera technology that will capture unsuspecting tweens and teens being set up by family members who will put them face-to-face with their favorite stars in "unpredictable and humorous" situations, according to the network. Musso will direct the pranks live from a secret mobile command center.
PrankStars' premiere episode will feature Musso and fellow Disney Channel stars Selena Gomez and Debby Ryan catching their biggest fans by surprise in three distinct pranks.
Mary, a 14-year-old Gomez fan, will be paired up with her idol -- who is disguised as a typical teenager -- and asked to learn a jingle during an audition for a fake bubble gum commercial. Ryan will recruit her number one fan, 14-year-old Albany, to model for her upcoming fashion show, but Albany will awkwardly be required to fire the star.
In addition, Musso's real-life best friend will fail to show up for an interview at a restaurant, so the host will ask an unsuspecting patron -- 15-year-old Luke -- to step in and take on a challenging role.
