Donald Trump Jr. reportedly had an affair with former The Celebrity Apprentice contestant Aubrey O'Day while he was married to Vanessa Trump.

According to multiple Us Weekly sources, Donald met Aubrey on Season 5 of The Celebrity Apprentice when he served as a boardroom adviser and she sparked his interest on the set.

"He would look at her like a piece of meat," an insider told Us about their time together on the show in 2011. "But he was equally taken by her intellect. She impressed him a lot on the show. She was smart."

A source close to Aubrey -- who also appeared on MTV's Making the Band 3 as well as Famously Single -- said her romance with Donald "started up" toward "the end of taping" the season.

"When it started, they were very serious all of a sudden," the source close to Aubrey told the magazine.

"He told her it was over with his wife, that they were separated and he didn't love her -- all of that stuff... Aubrey fell for him hard. She thought they were going to be together for real."

The source added that Donald called Aubrey "all the time" and "really cared about her."

"He was giving her a lot of advice on her career," the source continued, adding how he had told Aubrey that he would leave Vanessa for her. "She's actually a bright girl, way smarter than people realize. Don fell hard for Aubrey too."

An insider close to production of The Celebrity Apprentice shared with Us that Donald and Aubrey were hot and heavy for months.

"[They were] spending a lot of time together," revealed the insider. "They called and texted all the time too... [and] weren't the most careful, either."

Aubrey would even tweet about her relationship with a mystery man, although it's unclear whether she was definitely referring to President Donald Trump Sr.'s son.

"Love when my hunny doesn't want food, attention, or sex. Some nights its rub my feet, watch Martin & agree w everything I say time," she wrote in early March 2012 on Twitter.

The former Danity Kane band member and Donald's affair reportedly lasted from the end of 2011 through March 2012.

Donald called off the affair in early 2012 after Vanessa found emails between her husband and Aubrey, Us reported.

Aubrey said around that time she's attracted to "powerful" men with "strong" personalities and "big egos."

"I like a man that can be in a room with anyone and feel more powerful and more in control and fortunately it's difficult to find those men because those men can do whatever they want and they play hard and they don't always play fair," Aubrey explained to Us, adding that she falls in love quickly and hard.

"In fact, they usually never play fair. So, you know, it's difficult to find what I'm attracted to and make it a good person."

As previously reported, Vanessa filed for divorce from Donald Jr. on March 15 after being married for more than a decade. 

At the time of Donald's alleged affair, he and Vanessa had three children together: Daughter Kai, now 10, and sons Donald Trump III, now 9, and Tristan, now 6.

Vanessa and Donald reconciled after the alleged cheating scandal and later welcomed son Spencer, 5, and daughter Chloe, 3.

"After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways," the couple said in a statement obtained by Us earlier this week.

"We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time."
