"Duck Dynasty" alum Jase Robertson has shaved off his signature beard to raise money for the Mia Moo Fund, which helps people with cleft lips and palates.

The Houston Chronicle said Robertson promised he would remove his facial hair if the organization raised $100,000. Although the campaign attracted only $35,000 in donations, he lost his beard and long hair anyway.

A video of him being shaved was posted on Facebook.

"Haha, thanks for the shearing....Missy has been hitting on me like we're 20," Robertson tweeted Monday, referring to his wife.

His message was in response to a post by Jill Dasher, who shared a photo of her preparing to shave Robertson.

"Labor of love on this Labor Day in honor of @miamoofund My pleasure to take care of this hair @jaseduckman #shavejase," Dasher said.
