The Traitors alum Ekin-Su Culculoglu has confirmed the type of relationship she shares with The Bachelor alum Peter Weber.

Many fans assumed Peter, who had appeared on The Traitors' second season earlier this year, was romantically involved with his co-star, Erin, after his mother, Barbara Weber, posted a photo posing and smiling with the British brunette beauty in Los Angeles, CA, on Instagram.

But Ekin-Su, who also won Season 8 of Love Island U.K., set the record straight in regard to her relationship with Peter when she spoke to Us Weekly at the Sixth Annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on Saturday, June 15

"We're very good friends," Ekin-Su, 29, told the magazine of the commercial pilot. "We have a special friendship [and] he's a lovely guy."

Ekin-Su met The Bachelor's Season 26 star when they filmed The Traitors' second season in Scotland.

Neither Ekin-Su or Peter won the show, but their close relationship sparked romance rumors after filming.

Not only did Ekin-Su take a photo with Peter's mom that was uploaded on social media, but Barbara also commented on several of the reality TV star's Instagram posts.

Barbara had memorably behaved the same way when Peter had begun dating his The Bachelor fifth-place finisher and now ex-girlfriend Kelley Flanagan in 2020. (Peter and Kelley ultimately dated on and off for three years after his The Bachelor stint until their final split in April 2023).

"I met his mom when I was in L.A. [and] the whole family to be fair," Ekin-Su explained. "We stay in touch [and] we speak."

Ekin-Su said she "might" even visit Peter in New York -- where Peter is based as a pilot for United Airlines base -- by the end of June.

Ekin-Su gushed about how she had made "the best friends" while filming The Traitors.

"Everyone's amazing," Ekin-Su boasted of the Peacock reality series' Season 2 cast.

"I love the Americans. You guys rock... We just had such a bond, even though in the castle we were all kind of paranoid about each other."

In addition to her friendship with Peter, Ekin-Su recalled forming close relationships with Phaedra Parks, Dan Gheesling and Janelle Pierzina as well.

"We're all friends and I keep in touch with them," Ekin-Su shared. "Good friendships come out of a really, really good show. I heard they're filming Season 3 [now] and I'm very jealous."

Peacock recently announced The Traitors' Season 3 cast, which will include The Bachelorette alum Gabby Windey, Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval, former Survivor winner Rob Mariano, and Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause.

But Ekin-Su admitted, "I would like to see more politicians on there. I think politicians are really good at manipulating. I thought [John Bercow] was a Traitor for a long time, but he wasn't."

Peter confirmed that he was still a single bachelor back in April.

"Pilot Pete is very single and is ready to mingle and [go on] dates," Peter said on the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast.

"I keep saying this has probably been one of the best years of my life so far," he continued.

"I am loving this energy and there's something I feel that's really, really good about 2024. I can feel, finally, I hope -- and fingers crossed -- that a relationship comes out of this [year]. My last relationship would be ideal, so I'm very optimistic."

Peter also addressed Ekin-Su dating rumors at the time.

"We're really, really good friends. I obviously get everyone commenting on that and [my mom's] picture probably confused people," Peter explained.

Kaitlyn pointed out how Ekin-Su is "hot," and Peter was quick to agree.

"She is beautiful," The Bachelorette 15 alum noted. "She is beautiful, but she's out in London filming Big Brother right now, so we're just really, really and truly good friends."

Peter pointed out how he and Ekin-Su were "very much alike" and got along "super well."

"But yeah, we're just really good friends," he reiterated.

Kelley, for her part, announced in June that she's in a new relationship with Ari Raptis, who founded Talaria Transportation & Melly Home Delivery as well as a software system intended to provides a logistics system for the marijuana industry.

Peter had placed third on Hannah Brown's The Bachelorette season before starring as the Bachelor in 2020.

Peter began dating Kelley in early 2020 after his engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss ended and his post-The Bachelor relationship with Madison Prewett never got off the ground.
