Elizabeth Olson was eliminated from Survivor: David vs. Goliath after the three tribes merged into one during Wednesday night's Survivor Season 37 episode on CBS.

Following the merge, Elizabeth, a 31-year-old kitchen staffer from Dallas, Fort Worth, TX, who currently resides in Longview, TX, became the eighth castaway to leave the game on Day 20 through a unanimous vote at Tribal Council.

Elizabeth, however, voted to oust Angelina Keeley, a 28-year-old financial consultant from Sparks, NV, who currently resides in San Clemente, CA, from Survivor: David vs. Goliath.

"Well, um, I got voted out! I did what I could and it fell on deaf ears, but I certainly hope... [for] cracks," Elizabeth said of the original Goliath tribe. "Because that's what I would really like, to see a David win this game. As a fan, I still love Survivor more than I ever have in my life and I had a great time."

During an exclusive interview with Reality TV World on Thursday, Elizabeth talked about her Survivor experience. Below is a portion of what she had to say.

Reality TV World: Walking into Tribal Council, what did you anticipate was going to happen? How did you expect the vote was going to turn out?

Elizabeth Olson: Well, I knew my name was on the chopping block, so I figured it was either going to be me or Angelina, and the only way it was going to be Angelina was if I pulled out all the stops and convinced those darn Goliaths that one of their own was betraying them and that they couldn't trust her, so much so that she had to go that night.

So I was hopeful, but I was also very realistic in my expectations that it could be me... I did not realize, however, that all of the Davids were gunning for me as well. They were being led by [Carl Boudreaux].

So that came to light at Tribal. They didn't quite show that part, but at one point, I was going around talking to people and whispering, and when I got to Carl, Carl wanted nothing to do with me.

He was like, "I don't want to talk to you, Elizabeth. I don't want to hear it." And he said it loud so everybody could hear! He wasn't just talking to me; he was talking to everybody.

That shut down all chances of Angelina going home last night or at the last vote, because that popped a bubble of confidence for the Goliaths, who were seriously considering it, which I believe they were -- watching it play back, especially.

I really do believe it. They wouldn't have been whispering that much if they never considered switching the vote.

Reality TV World: Okay, that makes a lot of sense because I was wondering why none of your fellow original Davids attempted to vote out Angelina with you, not even Gabby. So I figured a comment or conversation was edited out of the episode that made it abundantly clear you were the target.

Elizabeth Olson: Right. It was all, I think, because of Carl.

Reality TV World: Were you aware while you were out there that Carl had such an issue with you, or has that been a surprise to you when watching the season back?

Elizabeth Olson: Yes and no. I was aware that he and I did not mesh, but I can see past those kind of differences. I like working with people that are different from me, which was part of my, I think, appeal towards the [Lyrsa Torres] alliance and [Christian Hubicki] and I had a different thing going on, and [Alec Merlino].

I can work with different people. That's something I do in my day-to-day life as well. But I did not realize Carl was not willing to work with me because of our differences, which I think was foolish on his part -- to abandon the numbers that quickly.

So yeah, I knew we did not mesh, but I did not realize how deep of a disdain Carl has for Elizabeth Olson. (Laughs) It was a little surprising.

Reality TV World: Just to clarify, before the whispers broke out and Carl made his comment at Tribal, whom did you think was working with you? Whom did you anticipate would be voting out Angelina with you?

Elizabeth Olson: I thought all the Davids would risk, you know, voting for Angelina in hopes that maybe she would actually go home. And I was very hopeful Alec would come and join me.

I thought that it was very likely he would, and it appeared there was quite a bit of rumbling. [Alison Raybould] was very perturbed at Angelina at Tribal, like, she was very irritated. So I felt like I was feeding off of that, [which] was a solid chance there.

And I was completely unaware of the whole "strike force" thing -- the six of Alec, [Mike White], Alison, [Nick Wilson], Christian, and [Gabby Pascuzzi]. Had I known that going into Tribal, I certainly would have focused on that, especially considering Carl wrote me off.

I could've become a member of that six and not needed Carl, but I was not aware those people were working together. So, it was kind of a bummer that I didn't know that, but good on Alec for playing me and both sides.

I misread that, that he was telling [Dan Rengering] that I told Alec that I wanted to vote out Dan, you know? Good play on Alec. Way to work the middle! And yeah.

Reality TV World: So it doesn't sound like you felt particularly betrayed by anyone. Do you just give people -- like Alec, for example -- props for playing an aggressive game?

Elizabeth Olson: Yeah! Yeah. I'm not bitter at all. Even Carl, man, he's just playing the game, and good for him. I'm hurt he was so quick to throw me underneath the bus. I felt like that was kind of uncalled for, but everyone else -- and even Carl, man -- I respect him! So, I don't have hard feelings. I respect that.

Reality TV World: So after what had transpired at Tribal Council and it became time to vote, you were certain you were the one going home?

Elizabeth Olson: Yeah. Yeah. But it was still hard to see it was unanimous. It was like all of these little turd-buckets who I grew to love so much all voted for me! Gosh darnit, and I just lost the game I dreamed about winning my whole life.

I knew I could do it and I really felt like I was close. So to see that it was unanimous, it was hard to swallow. But at the same time, there's only so much that they can show on the show, you know?

And I was set up really well. I had really good relationships with even new people, and so Carl thought I was a know-it-all or whatever, but I don't think anyone else in the whole tribe would think that about me if you were to ask them all. I don't think other people felt that way. So it's all good.
