Ellen DeGeneres was probably echoing the sentiments of women across America when she called The Bachelor eleventh-season star Brad Womack a "jerk" during Tuesday's broadcast of her syndicated The Ellen DeGeneres Show, however she apparently regrets the harsh words she used.

DeGeneres called Womack a "jerk" during a Tuesday interview with DeAnna Pappas, who along with Jenni Croft was rejected by the 35-year-old Austin, TX bar owner during last week's broadcast of The Bachelor's eleventh-season final Rose Ceremony.
"I may have called [Womack] a jerk. I'm pretty sure I did. Cause I thought he was a jerk. Cause I thought he led the girls on," said DeGeneres. "I have no idea what his story is -- even though I thought what he did was wrong -- I still shouldn't have called him a jerk,"
DeGeneres issued an apology to Womack and decided it might be best to get his side of the story.
"I felt bad, so I thought, 'Well, I should have him on the show to explain himself,'" she said on Thursday's broadcast. "So we called [Womack], and it turns out he had watched the show [when I called him a jerk]... and he's mad, because he likes me, and he's a fan. Now, if I had known that, I would not have called him a jerk."
Womack will have the opportunity to explain himself as a guest on Friday's broadcast of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"I do want to hear what his excuse is," DeGeneres said. "Because it was wrong, what he did... Not a jerk, but wrong. Maybe he is a jerk. We'll find out [on Friday], I don't know."
