Emily Larina was featured on Season 7 of 90 Day Fiance as a 29-year-old from Portland, OR, in love with Sasha Larin, a 32-year-old from Moscow, Russia.
Emily's Facebook page indicates she and Sasha started dating in Russia in June 2016, given the first photo of them looking like a couple on social media was posted on September 2016.
Emily held down a job in Russia after finishing college, and Sasha got her pregnant after the pair dated for about two years. The pair later got engaged on February 27, 2017, according to what she shared on Facebook.
About six months after Emily gave birth to a son David in November 2018, 90 Day Fiance showed her family moving to the United States after Sasha's K-1 visa was approved. Sasha unfortunately had to leave behind two children, whom he had welcomed with his first two wives, in Russia.
Emily was subsequently shown trying to secure a job and a place for her family to live while Sasha settled into life in a new country.
Emily and Sasha got married in a romantic and intimate beachside wedding in Portland, OR, but her sister Betsy continued to be skeptical of Sasha's intentions and character.
"I think we'll see Sasha's true behavior once he actually gets the Green Card," Betsy said on 90 Day Fiance's Season 7 Tell-All special.
However, Emily and Sasha still insist they are in love with each other and will not divorce. Emily defended Sasha on Instagram in late February, saying Sasha is "perfect" for her and he's definitely not married to her just for U.S. residency and eventual citizenship.
In June 2020, Emily shared an update on her life with Sasha in America on Instagram.
"Hi, IG️. We've moved to our new place but still have a lot of work to do," she wrote.
"Sasha is back in the gym as a certified personal trainer at LA Fitness in Beaverton while still working nights at UPS."
Emily also gushed about Sasha on Father's Day.
"Taking a break from my sorta IG break to say Happy Father's Day to this guy," Emily captioned a picture of the pair on Instagram.
"You work literally from sun up to sun down to give your children every opportunity. I've never met anyone with your work ethic and drive. You motivate me everyday. I love you. #fathersday."
