Emily Maynard and Jef Holm may have said they're officially broken up, but they haven't exactly parted ways.

Maynard and Holm, who got engaged at the conclusion of this summer's edition of The Bachelorette but confirmed they had split in October following two months of reports their relationship had been on the rocks, were recently spotted together "getting very cozy" at a bar in North Carolina, RadarOnline reported Tuesday.

According to a source, the couple allegedly flirted with each other while having a conversation at Connolly's Irish pub in Maynard's hometown of Charlotte, NC, on December 11.

"Emily sat on a stool at the bar while Jef stood facing her between her legs. It was obvious they were having some sort of deep conversation, but Emily also had her arms hanging around his neck affectionately at one point," the source told RadarOnline.

"I was surprised at how into each other they were acting because it was clear that they were trying to go unnoticed and didn't want attention from anyone. From what I could overhear, they were having a discussion about their relationship status."

At some point in the night, a random person at the bar reportedly attempted to take a picture of the couple, but Holm picked up on it right away and flipped out.

"Jef got physical with some guy over taking a photo so Emily grabbed his cheeks with both hands and was like, 'Stop, calm down,'" said the source.

"The guy who tried to take the photo was told to leave the bar by management. Jef was either being protective of Emily or he just didn't want them photographed at all."

Maynard, 26, was allegedly seen on a date with NASCAR truck racer Jason White, 33, in early November.

Reports then surfaced late last month that Holm is dating a new "young, blonde and pretty" girl named Katianna Bear from New Orleans. However, Bear, 23, subsequently denied rumors that she's dating Holm, 28.
