Lysacek and professional partner Anna Trebunskaya topped Monday night's performance show leaderboard after they received 26 out of 30 possible points for their quick step routine.
"I just had a couple of broken toes that I found out about this week. But it's normal when you're doing something new and nothing is going to keep me from dancing with Anna tonight," Lysacek told new Dancing with the Stars co-host Brooke Burke afterwards.
Although the performance ended Scherzinger's two-week reign at the top of the judges' leaderboard, she didn't fall very far.
Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough finished tied for second place with ESPN reporter Erin Andrews and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy after they each received 23 points from the judges for their Monday night performances. Scherzinger and Hough performed a quick step while Andrews and Chmerkovskiy danced a waltz.
Former The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka and partner Chelsie Hightower, comedian and Clean House host Niecy Nash and partner Louis van Amstel, and former Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson and partner Damian Whitewood all finished tied for fourth place with 21 points each.
All three performed different dances, with Pavelka and Hightower performing a quick step, Nash and van Amstel doing a waltz, and Anderson and Whitewood dancing a paso doble.
NFL star Chad Ochocinco and partner Cheryl Burke also performed a paso doble and finished tied for seventh place after receiving 20 points from the judges. They finished tied with former All My Children actor Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska, who performed a quick step.
Similar to the competition's first two weeks, former Apollo astronaut Buzz Aldrin and partner Ashley Costa and former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin and partner Tony Dovolani both received low scores from Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli and finished at the bottom of the leaderboard.
Gosselin and Dovolani performed a paso doble that received 15 points from the judges and left them in ninth place while Aldrin and Costa danced a waltz that only earned 13 points and left them in last place on the judges' leaderboard.
The judges' scoring and home viewer votes that were cast after Monday night's performances will now be combined and one of the ten remaining celebrity and professional pairings will be eliminated on Dancing with the Stars' second tenth-season results show tonight at 8PM ET/PT.
