Sarah Welch tried to fall in-love with Charlie O'Connell during The Bachelor's Spring 2005 seventh season. However she's now garnering attention for a more recent fall she took -- and it had nothing to do with love.

The runway model tumbled to the ground (see below video) at the recently held Shadang fashion show as part of Los Angeles Fashion Week, a spill that was apparently caused by a previous kung fu demonstration that left a hole in the catwalk.
"I had no idea that there was a hole there," Welch told the syndicated entertainment news program Inside Edition. "It was almost like falling through ice. I was trying to get out and I remember there were pieces breaking around me and I couldn't."
Welch explained she wasn't even aware the hole was in the catwalk during an interview with Los Angeles ABC-affiliate KABC-TV, according to Entertainment Tonight.
"As a runway model, you have to keep your head up, you know," she told KABC-TV. "So I didn't look down for a hole, particularly."

Luckily for her, the show's catwalk was built atop the Mondrian Hotel's pool, which Welsh claims prevented her from breaking some bones.
"My feet were soaking wet, so if I hadn't caught myself with my hands, I would have had to swim out," she told Inside Edition, adding the incident left her foot bandaged and her leg in need of stitches. "It's like the most extreme road rash you've ever seen."
Heroes' actor Jimmy Jean Louis was also participating in the fashion show, and he was the one responsible for pulling Welsh to safety.
"He was my hero," she told Inside Edition. "He saved me."
Welch was cast as one of the 25 bachelorettes looking for affection from O'Connell during The Bachelor 7 but was sent packing on the cusp of the show's finale. O'Connell eventually presented his final rose to Sarah Brice, and while the couple had been dating ever since, Brice recently confirmed they split over the summer.

Welch is currently working as a fashion model for Vue Models, and while it's been keeping her busy, she's been receiving a considerable amount of attention for her fall, the video of which has been circulating on the Internet.
"It is just a really funny mishap," she told KABC-TV. "I hope they're enjoying watching it just as much as I am!"
