Former Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick got engaged last week, but the proposal was reportedly just a public display of attention.

Pivarnick's fiance Dave Kovacs proposed to the reality TV star with a $60,000, two-karat diamond ring while they were walking the red carpet at a fashion show during New York Fashion Week, Us Weekly reported last week.
Pivarnick seemed thrilled when her boyfriend knelt down on one knee and publicly proposed, but according to RadarOnline, Kovacs had a "panic attack" and sent his bride-to-be a series of text messages that called her a "bad evil person" only hours after he popped the question.
According to its source, Kovacs is looking to become famous and hoping Pivarnick will be invited to rejoin Jersey Shore for the show's next season, with him also joining the cast as her new fiance, RadarOnline reported.
According to the source, Pivarnick has another boyfriend back in Staten Island that she's been dating at the same time. Whether the couple truly intend to wed or are just seeking the limelight, the source claimed Pivarnick and Kovacs' relationship is basically a joke and the chances of them marrying are slim to none.
"Highly doubtful," the source told RadarOnline. "They aren't even friends on Facebook. The whole thing is weird."
