Jason Wahler continues to pay the monetary price for past mistakes.

Still, Stevenson's lawyer Daniel Wagner had originally requested his client receive $1 million in damages -- making the $20,000 total Wahler has to pay seem like peanuts.
"We won," Wahler told reporters after the jury's decision, according to E! News.
Stevenson -- who is black -- had alleged that he was "roughed up" by the former Laguna Beach star in during a verbal and physical altercation that began after a car Wahler was traveling in was blocked by Stevenson's tow truck as he was attempting to impound another vehicle.
Wahler eventually plead no contest to one count of battery and received a two-month jail sentence that was later converted into a rehab stint, however Stevenson and Los Angeles City Traffic Officer Jonathan Wallace both ended up filing civil lawsuits over the altercation.
He still faces the separate pending lawsuit from Wallace, who accused Wahler of assault, battery and violating his civil rights.
Wahler claims he currently has a couple of deals in the works and was unconcerned about the civil trial's outcome.
"I don't think [it will affect my future employment]," he told reporters, according to E! News. "This all happened two years ago."
