Survivor: Cagayan -- Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty's fifth episode concluded with the new Aparri tribe voting Alexis Maxwell out of their tribe at Tribal Council.

Alexis, a 21-year-old student from Addison, IL, was voted out of her Aparri tribe at the season's sixth Tribal Council session during last week's broadcast of the CBS reality series' 28th edition. Alexis was blindsided to discover her tribemates had unanimously decided to vote her out when she thought the obvious next target was Jeremiah Wood.

In a recent exclusive interview with Reality TV World, Alexis talked about her Survivor experience. Below is the concluding portion. Click here to read the first half.

Reality TV World: Had you ever gotten the sense earlier in the game that Lindsey Ogle might be the type to quit? I don't know if the topic had come up after the tribal swap.

Alexis Maxwell: Well, I never had any interaction with her, so I only saw her at the challenges, and she really had her heart in the challenges. So, no, I had no idea that any of that was going on. I didn't know how she was during the storm or anything like that, so I couldn't have known.

[Sarah Lacina] did mention that she thought Lindsey was going to quit the whole time after Lindsey quit, but she didn't say anything about it beforehand, which I thought was interesting.

Reality TV World: Last night's episode obviously showed that Jeremiah Wood was telling the truth about the hidden Immunity Idol clue. What was your reaction when you found out he wasn't lying about that?

Alexis Maxwell: I cannot believe it! I actually didn't find out until last night's episode that I was wrong, and at that time, I was so mad that he was lying about that, (laughs) and he was telling the truth!

So, my bad. (Laughs) I do feel kind of bad, but even if I knew he was telling the truth, I obviously still would've done the same thing. Because that whole idea would've only helped me, so I would've continued the same way even if I knew he was telling the truth.

Reality TV World: Why were you so certain Jeremiah was lying? Because like he pointed out, it would've been pretty weird for the losing tribe to get an idol clue.

Alexis Maxwell: Just because he had lied to me so many times that I just believed everything he said to me was a lie, and I was really wary of him then from my first beach and our first interactions. So I was just convinced that everything he said was a lie. (Laughs)

Reality TV World: How much credit for you guys believing Tony Vlachos' idol-clue lie do you give to Tony, and how much of the blame do you put on Jeremiah for appearing to handle the situation as horribly as possible? (Laughs)

Alexis Maxwell: Well I thought that was a really interesting move on Tony's part, and I think that it was to help me, and I wish it would've helped me more! I wish that the rest of my new Aparri tribe would've bought into it a little bit more, but unfortunately, they didn't.

I mean, Jeremiah, I don't think he really knew what was going on the whole time out there. (Laughs) He just kind of went with the flow, but he seemed to be very confused about everything.

Reality TV World: It seemed like Jeremiah could've diffused a lot of that if he had just immediately come back to camp and told everyone the clue made no sense, especially if he had just shown it to another person before Tony thought to come back and grab it.

Alexis Maxwell: And he didn't even talk about it until we confronted him about it. So he never even brought it up, and so, he really made it seem like he got a clue. And that's why I'm pretty sure that he was very confused. What's also weird is that the clue technically was the same clue that Tony got for that same beach, so it's all very confusing.

Reality TV World: What was your thinking behind Tony and Yung "Woo" Hwang deciding to give it to Jeremiah? Did you really think they wanted to work with him? Because it seemed strange that they would want to work with a big physical player since a merge was coming so soon. Normally, those are the people you try to vote off before the Individual Immunity Challenges begin.

Alexis Maxwell: Yeah, I had a hunch that they were doing it as a way to put a target on Jeremiah's back, but I also had the thought in the back of my head, like, "Maybe they do want to work with him, and maybe I already am out of it."

Because I thought that they would think of me as their other number -- not that I would've been -- but I thought that they might have been considering bringing in Jeremiah because they thought they could control him more.

Reality TV World: Whom did you feel were your true allies in the Beauty tribe before the tribal shuffle? Was it Jefra Bland and LJ McKanas?

Alexis Maxwell: Yeah. When we first got to the beach, me and Jefra went right to each other immediately -- probably within the first 10 seconds -- and we aligned together. Because we just kind of got the vibe that we're on the same page and we'll stick together. It's rare to have someone in Survivor that you can trust 100%, but I can honestly say I trusted Jefra 100%.

And then from there, she talked to Jeremiah and I talked to LJ. I felt pretty close with LJ. He really didn't talk that much and tell me a lot, but he talked to me more than he talked to anyone else, so I felt pretty comfortable with him too.

Reality TV World: A little earlier on, Morgan McLeod was the first one to approach Jefra about voting you off, but you guys ended up voting off Brice Johnston instead. Jeremiah was the key vote in that turnout. But you still didn't really trust him?

Alexis Maxwell: Yeah, I don't think that Jeremiah ever would've voted me out. He would've gotten too much backlash and we were in a solid four, so that's why, I think, LJ didn't stop us from splitting the vote even though he had the idol. Because he felt confident too. But, you know, Jeremiah, the fact he even considered voting for me really rubbed me the wrong way and I couldn't get over it. (Laughs)

Reality TV World: Did you have any idea LJ had the found the idol? And did anyone else ever voice any suspicions?

Alexis Maxwell: I didn't think he did, but Brice was certain that he did, and Brice was right the entire time. So it's bad of me to not have listened to Brice and believed him, because he was spot-on about most things that he said. But that just shows how good he was at the game.

Reality TV World: Did you think Morgan had found the hidden Immunity Idol or did you assume it was undiscovered?

Alexis Maxwell: There was a lot of talk, actually, about Brice finding it, but that was LJ's doing. So good job to LJ for putting that in our minds. But that was the reason we had split that vote, was because we thought Morgan had known where the clue was and maybe Brice found it. It was just too risky, but then I also put myself in a vulnerable spot when we did that triple flip.

Reality TV World: How were you cast on Survivor? How did you come to end up on the show?

Alexis Maxwell: Well, me and my dad actually applied together before they did the Blood vs. Water theme because we had anticipated it happening and we're both huge fans of it. And we made the video together and we were so excited. He thought that if we both applied together there would be a much greater chance of us getting on, but then only I got the phone call. (Laughs)

Reality TV World: Poor dad. (Laughs)

Alexis Maxwell: So I felt like I was playing for the both of us, which added more pressure. But, I mean, I really do wish he got the chance to play, but I did feel like I got to represent both of us.

Reality TV World: So you had to break the news to dad you got cast?

Alexis Maxwell: Yeah, I called him, and when he found out I got on to the next round, I called him and he thought I was lying to him the whole time. He thought I was joking. But then it was just so exciting for our whole family, because we all watch the show, so we were all very excited. It was just very surreal the entire time.
