Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance lost Terry Deitz to a family emergency, switched up the tribes again and concluded with the new Ta Keo tribe snuffing Yung "Woo" Hwang's torch during Season 31's sixth episode on CBS.

Terry, who previously competed on Survivor: Panama, was woken up in the middle of Night 13 by host Jeff Probst, who arrived with news his son Danny was in the hospital and his situation was serious enough that doctors and Terry's wife wanted him to come home immediately.

At the end of last week's episode, Survivor aired a clip of how Danny has since undergone a successful heart transplant and is currently doing great. To read what Terry had to say about his son's condition, click here.

In an exclusive interview with Reality TV World, Terry also talked about his experience on the show. Below is the final portion of what he had to say. Click here to read the rest.

Reality TV World: Thus far in the game, Kass McQuillen has shown herself to be a completely different player -- sympathetic, emotional and kind. Were you buying it while you were out there or were you just waiting for "Chaos Kass" to explode?

Terry Deitz: Alright, so no. I totally thought she was out there to play a different game -- a less emotional game and more of a strategic game on how she was going to proceed. She's a former person from the Navy, like myself, so in the long run, I had something with her on the island, like a strong vibe or whatever, in new Ta Keo that I had her back.

And I said, "Look, if I find the idol or I do anything, you'll know before anyone else." So I really, really enjoyed Kass McQuillen and getting to know her as a person. Again, you're probably not going to hear a lot of bad things about me because I kind of got through two weeks and some of the hard part of the game was about to come and I spent a lot of time getting to know people.

I think she did really well so far. I mean, she, [Kelley Wentworth] and [Ciera Eastin] were super tight. So as far as I knew at that point in the game, she had made some really lasting relationships with them. And yeah, I think she played a different game this time. So, I hope going forward that works out for her.

Reality TV World: As you saw in the last episode, there was a second Tribal swap. What are your thoughts on that and do you think that would've improved your game? Who would you have loved to join forces with going forward? What would've been your next move?

Terry Deitz: Oh yeah obviously because after seeing they were a strong five, you know, who knows. But it's like the night I was on the bottom and then I'm off the bottom. Survivor turns on a dime and, yeah, I think it would've totally kicked it up.

Had I gotten together with, like, [Andrew Savage] and [Yung "Woo" Hwang] and everything, I think a lot of that whole vote would've changed if I was over with [Joe Anglim] and [Jeremy Collins]. I think things would've changed drastically. But that's looking at it from last night. And I'm serious when I say this, that I did not project myself forward.

Then again, what we did think about and talk about was, "How many days do we have left? How many people are left? If we kept doing these Immunity Challenges where only one group goes to Tribal, at some point, when are they going to do a double Tribal and get rid of the numbers they need to go back to two tribes or go to a merge?"

So we were thinking about that the whole time and it's hard. And you're actually the first person I've talked to about this. You know, what do you think about that? Because they would've had to get rid of somebody else before going into that seven-person [in each of the two new tribes] merge, you know, to get to the Tribal swap.

So was that next challenge going to be a Reward Challenge with three tribes or was it going to be an Immunity Challenge to get somebody out? You know, I don't know!

So, that's something you can put out there. I hadn't really talked to people about that, so that's why it's kind of hard to [figure stuff out] even after seeing last night's episode. I'm wondering if that would've changed things somehow.

Reality TV World: Putting aside the whole grave situation regarding your son at the time you got evacuated from camp, were you devastated to have to leave Survivor basically halfway through?

Terry Deitz: It wasn't devastating for me to leave. Not at all. And like I mentioned -- and I think you can ask anybody -- our families back us up to go and now our family's in trouble, like it's Game Over back home. So it was like, "Get me home right now," type of thing. So it wasn't devastating for me to leave at all.

And it was funny because [the show's psychiatrist Dr. Liza Siegel] and Jeff, I don't know if they were trying to reinforce that in saying, "Hey, you said you wanted to come here and do two things and you did them in two weeks! It didn't even take you the whole game. It took you two weeks." So they helped reinforce that with me.

Reality TV World: Would you be interested in playing again and what might you change if you were to play again?

Terry Deitz: Yes, I would go back. I'm not sure when or under what circumstances, but again, it's like, "Could I swing that time off from work and still have a job when I come back? Would American Airlines let me take off another 45 days? Do I have enough vacation in the bank?"

Those type of things. So timing is everything and casting is as well. So, yeah, if the timing is right, I'd definitely go back. Also, this is Danny's Strong Fund. It's http://www.childrenshospital.org/dannystrong.
