Shortly after Giuliana Rancic admitted Fashion Police may not have a future without Joan Rivers, E! has announced the series will carry on.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joan Rivers and, for the last two weeks, have turned our attention to honoring her memory on all of our platforms. We have also thought long and hard about what Joan would have wanted as it pertains to the future of Fashion Police," E! said in a media statement.

Fashion Police has been airing since September 2010. In addition to Joan -- who passed away at the age of 81 on September 4 after going into cardiac arrest during a throat procedure -- Fashion Police, executive produced by Joan's daughter Melissa Rivers, also stars Giuliana, George Kotsiopoulos and Kelly Osbourne.

"We decided, with Melissa Rivers' blessing, that Joan would have wanted the franchise to continue," the statement continued. "Fashion Police will return in 2015 commencing with Golden Globes coverage on Monday, January 12. No further details will be announced at this time."

Giuliana apparently wasn't sure whether Fashion Police could survive without the quick-witted and sharp Joan.

"They are looking at different scenarios, whether it moves forward or it doesn't. Melissa ... a lot of that will be up to her and how she's feeling and how she decides what she wants to do, along with the execs... They are seeing what Fashion Police looks like without Joan," the E! News reporter and Giuliana & Bill star recently told ABC News.

"A part of me is like Joan would want Melissa and us and the team to go on and I know she would, but it's just a matter of can there be a show without Joan? Do we want to do a Fashion Police without Joan? I don't know."

Joan died after Melissa reportedly took her off life support. Both women had starred in Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? and appeared on The Celebrity Apprentice's second season. Joan won that edition.
