The nine-episode program will follow the 30-year-old YouTube star in her daily life as she struggles to rebuild her self-esteem and lose weight for her health.
Thore once weighed less than 120 pounds, but was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome after high school. The condition led to rapid weight gain, and she currently weighs 380 pounds.
Thore countered her feelings of insecurity by posting videos of herself dancing online. She also founded the No Body Shame campaign to help promote positive body image in others.
"My Big Fat Fabulous Life" will premiere Jan. 13 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
