On Tuesday, July 29, the remaining five comedians on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” will give their final performances before the viewers vote for whom they feel is the funniest and deserves the title of “Last Comic Standing.” Nearly six months after first performing at the Paris Hotel theater to determine the 10 comedians who moved into the “Comic House” in Los Angeles, California, the five remaining comedians will return to the theater to each perform a 5-minute routine. At the end of the show, viewers will vote by phone or internet for who they feel should be the “Last Comic Standing” and thereby win a talent deal with NBC, a special on Comedy Central and an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

Hosted by Jay Mohr (“Jerry Maguire”), the show will include final performances by Tess Drake, Cory Kahaney, Ralphie May, Dat Phan and Rich Vos. Immediately following all performances, viewers can call 1-866-VOTE4 (01-05) to vote for their favorite comedian. The voting is limited to three calls from any phone line and the phones close one-hour after the show ends. Voting is also available until 9 p.m. PT/12 a.m. ET on Wednesday, July 30 at www.voteNBC.com.
The winner of “Last Comic Standing” will be revealed at the Paris Hotel on Tuesday, August 5 in a special 2-hour finale (9-11 p.m. ET) and will appear on Wednesday, August 6 on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” (11:35 p.m.-12:35 a.m. ET).
Since its June 10 premiere, "Last Comic Standing" has averaged an impressive 3.7 rating, 11 share among adults 18-49 and 8.2 million viewers overall. That ties "Last Comic Standing" for the second-highest 18-49 average for any reality series this summer and represents a powerful 32 percent improvement over NBC's summer-to-date time-period performance of a year ago.
“Last Comic Standing” is a Giraffe Production. Peter Engel, Barry Katz and Jay Mohr serve as executive producers.
