HGTV has announced the fifth season of Fixer Upper starring Chip Gaines and wife Joanna Gaines will premiere Tuesday, November 21 at 9PM ET/PT.
Fixer Upper follows home renovators, Chip and Joanna, as they fix up houses for families in their hometown of Waco, Texas. The season will consist of 19 one-hour episodes.
"We are really, really proud of Season Five. We laid it all on the field and didn't hold anything back," said Chip in a statement, while Joanna added, "We love renovating homes for all these beautiful families. It has become such a big part of our lives."
Fixer Upper's new season will be its last, as Chip and Joanna announced last month they are ending the popular show in order to focus on their marriage and have more time with their four children -- Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie, 7.

In addition to their Magnolia real estate company and the Magnolia Market, the famous couple is also committed to several other projects in print and retail.
The final season of Fixer Upper will feature the following special guests: Former First Lady Laura Bush and football star Tim Tebow.
The premiere episode of Fixer Upper's fifth edition will chronicle Matt and Samantha, a couple who is moving to Waco from Austin, TX, to find their first family home. They want a spacious historic charmer in their budget that Chip and Joanna will customize to perfection.
In order to make the renovation more personal, the Gaines will secretly ask Matt's grandfather, a woodworker in Kansas City, to build hand-crafted end tables for the couple's new home.
"Fixer Upper fans are going to love this season," HGTV executive Allison Page said in a statement. "Chip and Joanna's love for their family, their admiration and respect for each other, and their genuine passion for home renovation inspires everyone who watches the series."

In May 2018, Joanna and Chip also will star in a new spinoff series Fixer Upper: Behind the Design. The half-hour, behind-the-scenes show will focus on Joanna's process to create the lovely and unique designs fans see in each Fixer Upper episode.
Season 4 of Fixer Upper concluded in March 2017.
