"Iron Chef America" is going co-ed for the first time with a woman in a cook-off involving potatoes, the New York Daily News reports.

The pair get one hour on the Food Network show to concoct, prepare and plate five dishes from appetizer to dessert using the same ingredient.
During the show's taping, both chefs show lots of imagination, the newspaper said. Cora took tiny bright purple potatoes from Peru and whipped up a dessert called Purple Peruvian Potato Gelato.
Lee made potato skins, in which hollowed-out new potatoes were filled with fontina, prosciutto and white truffles.
