"Putting my family on -- they've been in the game before me so getting them together as one team, it's going to be explosive and something special," Ray J told Vibe magazine in a recent interview.
"People can kind of see where we've been and where we're going and our connection together."
Ray J -- whose real name is William Raymond Norwood, Jr. -- revealed no other details about the project, including he expects it to air. However he's excited to collaborate with his family.
"I've had great success with my family in other things so I'm looking forward to it," he told Vibe.
Ray J and his sister Brandy have previously worked together on several projects -- including when he played her little cousin on the sitcom Moesha, which aired on the now-defunct UPN from 1996 to 2001.
Brandy later served as a judge on America's Got Talent's first season, however she was replaced by Sharon Osbourne prior to the NBC reality competition series' second installment in 2007.
For the Love of Ray J's second season, which will follow the rapper, producer and actor as he whittles down a group of 19 women while living with them in a Hollywood Hills mansion, will premiere Monday, November 2 at 9PM ET/PT on VH1.
