Brooke White and husband Dave Ray have welcomed their first child into the world.

"Baby London is here. Our girl came in at 6:41 p.m. and is 8 lbs., 12 oz.!" Ray told People, adding that White and his new daughter are "both healthy as well."
London reportedly got her name because Ray's parents and family all derive from that area of England, while White and Ray also traveled to London two years ago and absolutely loved the city.
In addition, White -- who finished fifth on the seventh season of American Idol, which aired in early 2008 -- took a liking to the nickname "Londy," according to People.
"We're so excited," White told the magazine in January.
"By the time the baby's born, we'll have been married eight years. I met Dave when I was 19 years old and we've been together a really long time, and we've always wanted to be parents."
White officially announced she was pregnant on her Brookie Babble blog in December after keeping the big news under wraps for about four months until she could no longer hide her baby bump.
"Undercover," White's new EP with writing partner Jack Matranga, was released yesterday on iTunes.
