Howard K. Stern, who was Anna Nicole Smith's companion, hired an Atlanta law firm to represent him as the executor of Smith's estate and as an individual.
Wood said he also would represent Stern regarding the possible theft of any property belonging to Smith, as well as "its unlawful use, sale or other misappropriation in the media."
Besides being the executor for Smith's estate, Stern, an attorney, claims to be the father of Smith's baby girl, Dannielynn. Results of DNA tests on the baby are expected to be revealed Tuesday.
Smith died Feb. 8 of an accidental drug overdose while on a trip to Florida. Her son, Daniel, died in September just days after Smith gave birth to her daughter in the Bahamas. An inquest into Daniel Smith's death is scheduled for later this year.
