"Evel" Dick Donato has announced he has gotten engaged to girlfriend Amy Benallo.

Donato -- who won Big Brother's eighth edition in 2007 and also briefly competed on this season's thirteenth edition before quitting due to a personal matter -- subsequently tweeted a picture of the engagement ring.
"I picked out the stone and the setting all by myself," he wrote on Tuesday.
Donato also thanked all the people who have been supportive of his decision to propose to Benallo.
"Thank you all for the overwhelming amount of congratulations on my engagement, it's appreciated,"Donato tweeted, later adding that he and his bride-to-be are likely to have a destination wedding.
"I think we'll either be getting married at Kilkenny Castle in Ireland or on the beach in Hawaii."
Danielle Donato, Donato's estranged daughter and fellow former Big Brother houseguest, will be invited to the wedding, according to the former Big Brother champion.
