Former "American Idol" contestant Constantine Maroulis has joined a New York production of "Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris."
A graduate of the Boston Conservatory and the Berklee College of Music, Maroulis' prior stage experience was in a tour of "Rent" and a recent stint in "The Wedding Singer" from New York's Public Theater.
Now he and Patterson join fellow thespians Gay Marshall and Robert Cuccioli in the Gordon Greenberg-helmed production for a series of weekly feature performances and matinees.
Since its original staging back in 1968, "Jacques Brel," with music and lyrics by its late namesake Jacques Brel, has enjoyed a remarkable run of 1,847 total performances, Playbill.com said.
