McAllister's death was therefore officially ruled a suicide by acute intoxication from the combined effects of amlodipine and acetaminophen.
McAllister passed away at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH, in February after her life support was withdrawn. Her sister-in-law Julie, an ER nurse, told People at the time McAllister had taken a "combination of two different prescription medications, and Tylenol and Aspirin" on the day she was rushed to the hospital in stable condition. Her body later shut down.
The blonde beauty suffered from depression and bipolar disorder, according to TMZ.
McAllister, who was nicknamed "Lex," competed on The Bachelor: On The Wings of Love, the franchise's fourteenth season. She was billed as a 25-year-old entrepreneur from Galloway, OH, at the time and was eliminated during the very first Rose Ceremony. She reportedly worked for a financial planning and wealth management company.
Pavelka tweeted shortly after McAllister's death that she was "beautiful" and his "heart breaks" for her mourning family.
McAllister is the second woman from Pavelka's season to take her own life. Third-place finisher Gia Allemand, who also later appeared on Bachelor Pad, hanged herself in August 2013. Season 5 The Bachelorette contestant, Julien Hug, also shot himself in 2010.
