Although they remained together for five years, it looks like Mary Delgado and Byron Velvick will never walk down the aisle.

The Bachelor sixth-season couple -- who met during filming and got engaged on the ABC reality dating show's November 2004 finale -- has split, Velvick told Us Weekly in a Wednesday report.
The last few years of their relationship had been rocky, beginning with a November 2007 incident when Delgado was arrested while she and Velvick were watching The Bachelor's eleventh-season After the Final Rose special at a friends' condominium in Florida.
While Velvick wanted to leave the condominium, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office alleged Delgado wanted to stay, and after the pair got into Velvick's truck they "became involved in an argument which turned physical."
Delgado then struck Velvick's mouth -- causing the upper left side of his lip to split. Velvick went back inside the condominium to clean-up while Delgado waited in the truck, which is when the former The Bachelor star called police.

Velvick didn't want to press charges and also did not want his injuries photographed, but Pinellas County deputies still determined a crime had happened and Delgado was arrested and charged with domestic battery.
The charges were dropped and Velvick stated the couple was "going day by day" and had not called off their engagement plans -- although a firm wedding date had not been set at the time.
"Just because you met on a reality show, got engaged on this beautiful incredible setting doesn't mean that we're Prince Charming or Beautiful Princess," he said at the time, according to Us. "It's nothing like that. It's just a real couple going through real things."
Then last November, Delgado was arrested again in Del Rio, TX and charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct when she refused to leave a local bar.
