Alex Lambert was so psyched to learn his American Idol journey would continue that he said something that required Fox to censor him.

The network has confirmed that it was forced to drop the broadcast's audio for several seconds to censor the 19-year-old high school student from North Richland Hills, TX at the conclusion of Thursday night's live American Idol ninth-season results show, Entertainment Weekly reported Friday.
A Fox spokesperson told Entertainment Weekly that "the audio was dropped by broadcast standards due to language."
The incident occurred when Thursday night's final semifinalist elimination had been narrowed to just Lambert and Tyler Grady -- who was ultimately ousted.
"Yes! Oh my god," yelled Lambert as he clutched his head before the broadcast's audio was censored as he hugged Grady.
