After its premiere, So You Think You Can Dance 4 will continue with another two-hour broadcast on Wednesday, May 28 at 8PM ET/PT on Fox.
Following Fox's broadcast of So You Think You Can Dance 4's open auditions, the American Idol-like search for the country's top dancer will settle into a twice-weekly schedule in which two-hour performance shows will air on Wednesdays at 8PM ET/PT and one-hour results shows will air Thursdays at 9PM ET/PT.
Cat Deeley will return to host the show's fourth season, with Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy once again reprising their judging duties alongside choreographers who will serve as weekly guest judges. So You Think You Can Dance was created by Lythgoe and Simon Fuller and is produced by 19 Entertainment, Ltd. and Dick Clark Productions. It is executive-produced by Fuller, Lythgoe and Allen Shapiro.
The producers are currently holding casting calls for So You Think You Can Dance's fourth season -- expanding their search from four cities to six, traveling to Dallas, Charleston, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Milwaukee and Salt Lake City to find talented dancers who "best represent the rhythm of America."

Those who spark interest during auditions will then be invited to call-backs where they will work with choreographers to determine the season's Top 20 dancers.
Fox had already announced So You Think You Can Dance's fourth-season renewal prior to the show's August 2007 third-season finale broadcast.
In addition to So You Think You Can Dance's fourth season, Fox announced When Women Rule the World, a new repeatedly-delayed reality series that will follow a group of strong-minded women as the run rough-shot over a group of unsuspecting men in a primitive Survivor-like society, will also air this summer.
When Women Rule the World is now scheduled to premiere with a special two-hour episode on Monday, June 2 at 8PM ET/PT. After its debut, When Women Rule the World will move into its regular Mondays at 9PM ET/PT time slot beginning June 9.
