Foul-mouthed British chef Gordon Ramsay will be in the kitchen a little earlier then was originally scheduled this summer -- Fox has announced that the third season of Hell's Kitchen will now make its premiere on Monday, June 4 at 9PM ET/PT, three weeks earlier than the network had previously announced.

Due to the solid ratings that last summer's Hell's Kitchen delivered, Fox had already announced the show's third season renewal last July (before Hell's Kitchen 2 even ended) and stated that Hell's Kitchen 3 would air as part of a Summer 2007 Fox programming schedule that would also include a third edition of the network's American Idol-like So You Think You Can Dance summer reality series, whose own third season renewal was also announced in the same July announcement.
However in early January, Fox Entertainment president Peter Liguori unexpectedly told reporters attending January's Television Critics Association's Winter Press Tour that the network was now considering having Hell's Kitchen 3 air as part of a revamped Spring 2007 Fox Thursday night lineup. While that never came to fruition, the series is now premiering earlier than expected.
Joining Hell's Kitchen and So You Think You Can Dance -- which will premiere on Thursday, May 24, the day immediately after Idol's sixth season finale airs -- on Fox's summer reality programming lineup will be Mark Burnett and Steven Spielberg's new On The Lot reality series. On the Lot's "Film Premiere" episodes -- similar to American Idol's performance episodes -- will air on Mondays from 8PM to 9PM ET/PT and serve as the lead-in for Hell's Kitchen.
Still absent from Fox's latest summer schedule announcement is When Women Rule the World, a new reality series that the network had previously announced would debut sometime this spring. A Fox spokesperson did not immediately respond to Reality TV World's inquiry about the show's status.
