The ratings are in for the premiere episode Todd TV reality series and its safe to say that the new FX Network reality series is off to a very rough start.

According to Daily Variety, Todd TV's debut episode -- which FX scheduled to repeat upwards of half a dozen times during the following week -- drew only 803,000 viewers and a 0.5/1 in the key Adults 18-49 demographic. The news was mildly "better" in the Adults 18-34 demo however, where the show managed to draw a 0.5/2. By comparison, Newlyweds, in one of cable's highest ratest telecasts of the week, drew 4.7 million total viewers, while 'Til Death Do Us Part retained 3.3 million of Newlyweds's viewers at 10:30 PM, and Chappelle managed to draw nearly 3 million viewers for Comedy Central.
Todd TV's numbers were also about 10% lower than the network's primetime average from the previous year, which isn't a good sign considering FX featured little original first-run programming during that period.
Todd TV stars Todd Santos, a 30-year-old Hermosa Beach, California waiter and Massachusetts native who's "in a rut" and "has no direction in life." During the seven episode series, Santos allows viewers to direct all aspects of his life -- from where he works, to whom he dates, to where he lives.
