Gabby Pascuzzi was eliminated from Survivor: David vs. Goliath after she attempted to betray her closest ally, Christian Hubicki, during the latest Season 37 episode of Survivor on CBS.

Gabby, a 25-year-old technical writer from St. Augustine, FL, who currently resides in Denver, CO, was voted out on Night 32 through a 5-2-1 vote at Tribal Council. She became the thirteenth castaway to leave the game and Survivor: David vs. Goliath's sixth jury member.

Christian, a 32-year-old robotics scientist from Baltimore, MD, who currently resides in Tallahassee, FL, actually received five of those votes, but he decided to play a hidden Immunity Idol for himself.

Gabby therefore left the game with two votes, compared to the one vote that went to Alison Raybould, a 28-year-old physician from Leawood, KS, who currently resides in Chapel Hill, NC.

During a recent exclusive interview with Reality TV World, Gabby talked about her Survivor experience. Below is the concluding portion of what she had to say.

Reality TV World: Carl Boudreaux said he felt Christian had dragged you along in the game, but you were shown saying in the last episode Christian and yourself were a team out there and the perception just happened to be that Christian made all of the moves. So besides the Carl vote, is there anything you'd like to take credit for?

Gabby Pascuzzi: I think it's hard to take credit for a move. It's not like I had my name on a move, but what I mean is that when Christian would make a strategic decision, we would soundboard off of each other for like 30 minutes, you know?

We would talk and we would lay out all of the possibilities. We were really good also at coming up with decoy plans: What are we telling this person? What are we telling that person? Whereas I felt a lot of the other people were a little sloppy with that.

I would be like, what does this person think? And they would be like, "Oh, ugh, I don't know." So obviously it was like, "Well, you're lying to me."

So it was less about us having our name on any particular move and more about the fact we had talked through every strategic decision together. We had very similar relationships.

The hard part was he had a better social game than me. He was just way more liked than me. I wasn't disliked, but he was just literally everybody's favorite person... He's good! He's very charming and he's very likeable.

Reality TV World: If you had succeeded in blindsiding Christian and voting him out, and you made it to the end, do you think you two were close enough that he would've voted for you to win?

Gabby Pascuzzi: I think it depends on whom I was sitting next to. I think Christian has respect for the game just like I do where we want to vote for the best player in the end, not necessarily just our best buddy.

So, if I was sitting next to two people whom he thought I played a better game than, then absolutely!

That was part of the reason I wanted him on the jury too, was because I knew he saw the game similarly to me and would hopefully understand the moves that I was making and would understand my case.

I had also hoped he would not have any hard feelings towards me for blindsiding him because he knew that it was a move done out of respect, right? It wasn't a backstab in a personal way. It was, "Hey, you were my closest ally, but you're going to win this game if I don't vote you out, so I need to vote you out."

I think no matter who was sitting in the Final 3, I told myself as soon as I was on the jury that I would vote for whom I felt played the best game.

Reality TV World: Watching the season back, have any of players really impressed you? Other castaways I've spoken to have mentioned Nick Wilson, for example. They weren't aware of Nick's great gameplay while on the island.

Gabby Pascuzzi: Yeah! Nick is one I would definitely say. I would definitely say he either hid his strategy well or there's some reason Nick didn't come across particularly as a huge threat. I like to joke and say it's because of the southern accent.

But it's also because Nick had some flaws, and sometimes when you're a flawed player, people notice those rather than the strategy. Nick is an emotional person; I know that's ironic coming from me.

But when he got angry about the Carl vote and things like that, it takes him down a peg in your head threat level-wise because you're like, "Okay, he's easy to read." So it was cool to see all of his funny alliance names and whatnot; I had no idea that was going on.

Reality TV World: How do you feel about Mike White's gameplay? I received mixed feedback on him from previously-eliminated castaways. Some people thought he floated through the game while others thought he was really strategic and cunning in the background.

Gabby Pascuzzi: Well actually, I fall into the latter category. I thought he was very strategic and cunning, and I think part of the reason Mike voted for me is I think word got around that I was telling people, "You can't trust Mike." And I meant it out of respect.

So I think everyone thought they were Mike's best friend. Mike is so funny, like he would tell the funniest stories, and everyone would tell me, "Oh yeah, I was talking to Mike and blah, blah, blah."

And I was like, "Oh my gosh! Everyone is talking to Mike!" I remember I had a conversation with Christian once and I said, "Look, I know you like Mike, but everyone thinks they are best friends with Mike. So just be careful."

So I saw that he did have a very good social game, and it's interesting to see it back on TV and see all of the little conversations that he was having.

Reality TV World: Just a silly observation, you started the Survivor season wearing glasses and they seemed to disappear. Did they break out there or something? Maybe you only need them on occasion?

Gabby Pascuzzi: Yeah, I gained super vision! No. (Laughs) I wore contacts some of the time when I wasn't wearing glasses. So I still had to augment my vision with that. But yeah, it was kind of a pain to wear glasses out there, especially when you're doing the physical stuff.

Reality TV World: How were you cast on Survivor? How did you end up on the show this season?

Gabby Pascuzzi: I'm a huge fan and it was actually my second time applying. I guess they just liked what they saw! I was so, so overjoyed to be picked because I've been a fan for a while and I got a call back in, like, a day after submitting my video. So it was a dream come true!
