Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have split after seven months of dating. However, at least one source said they may just be taking a break from their Hollywood romance.
The reason for the split is not clear, but sources say the two have gone through some rough patches as of late.
"During her birthday they were fighting," an insider told E! News. That same source said the couple have broken up and gotten back together more than once.
Another source also confirmed the split, but said Hadid and Malik could get back together as quickly as they broke up.
"Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It's all very unclear what's going on between them now," the source said. "They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along.""Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out. It's more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close."
When the romance first began, Malik posted a black and white photo of Hadid affectionately pressing her lips against his as he closed his eyes in their first Instagram photo together.
