"The 'Duke' has landed! Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7lbs 4oz. G & I feel blessed beyond words...We did it!" Bill tweeted Thursday.
"Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives," Giuliana told E! News. "Thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way. We are so in love with the little guy already!"
After the unidentified surrogate was in labor for over four hours, Edward Duke was born at 10:12PM in Denver, E! News reported. An elated Bill and Giuliana -- who will celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary on September 1 -- were present in the delivery room for the entire birth and both burst into tears when Edward Duke arrived.
Bill reportedly cut the umbilical cord and then waited awhile to hold his son, giving Giuliana the chance to embrace him first. According to E! News, the baby is doing "incredibly well."
"On behalf of everyone at Style, we are overjoyed by the arrival of Edward Duke Rancic. What a wonderful early anniversary present for such a deserving couple. We are so happy that Giuliana and Bill's fairytale story is finally complete, and we look forward to seeing what adventures their future will bring," the Style network, which airs Giuliana & Bill, said in a statement.
