Giuliana Rancic and husband Bill Rancic are having a baby via a gestational surrogate this summer, but that doesn't mean the couple is going to stop trying to have another child the traditional way.

Although the Giuliana & Bill stars aren't opposed to considering the surrogacy method again, Giuliana won't know for awhile whether she will even be able to get pregnant due to her recent battle with breast cancer following her October diagnosis.
"The doctors are saying it looks like five years I'm going to be on medication and not be able to get pregnant," the E! News host explained. "But five years puts me at 42, and a lot of people have kids at 42. So I'm definitely going to try again."
While Giuliana has decided she'll definitely attempt to have another child one day, she's still unclear whether she and Bill will reveal the sex of their current baby on the way prior to delivery time.
"Everyone's trying to guess," Giuliana told People, adding it's "been hard" for her to keep the secret although Bill's been struggling with it even more.
"My parents are convinced it's a boy, because we're Italian and it's our first. Then my best friend is convinced it's a girl. So it's interesting to hear what everyone thinks and why. I'm not in that situation most women are where they can tell how I'm carrying, or if I'm nauseous. It's like Vegas, black or red."
However, Giuliana said she and Bill can't help but worry about things potentially going wrong with the surrogate's pregnancy because they had already experienced many disappointments in the past. The couple previously suffered an unfortunate miscarriage and numerous failed attempts at getting pregnant through in vitro fertilization.
"[The first sonogram] was incredible. Even though we knew it was a positive pregnancy, we were still so nervous leading up to the ultrasound, wondering if the heartbeat's not there, because that's happened to us before. So hearing it was a huge milestone, and it just means everything. It was beyond what I thought it would be," Giuliana said.
Due to Giuliana's strong desire to have more children someday, the hopeful mom-to-be apparently won't put a number on how many babies she's willing to have.
"Bill's like, 'How many kids are we talking about?' I'm like, 'As many as we can get!' When you fight so hard for something, and want something so badly, you forget the planning for college costs, the struggle. You realize what a gift it is, so you want to do as much as you can to make it happen," Giuliana said.
