Jana is determined to make it all the way, but if Gleb is going to remain the partner at her side, he needs to overcome a nagging knee injury.

- Gleb began dancing at age 8 and left home at age 16, when he began supporting himself. He eventually graduated from Russian Theatre Arts University with a Masters in Choreography.
- Gleb joined the American version of Dancing with the Stars in Season 16. He competed with Lisa Vanderpump and finished in tenth place.
- He has lived in New York, Hong Kong, Sydney and more. Before becoming a member of the DWTS family, he taught in North Carolina with DWTS pro Karina Smirnoff as well as in the same Times Square studio with pro Cheryl Burke.
- He quit his role on Strictly Come Dancing this year after joining the show for its 13th season in 2015.
- Gleb has modeled for Dolce & Gabbana and walked the runway for other famous designers. He has also starred in ads for Coca-Cola and Gillette.
- The pro dancer is married to DWTS Russia judge Elena Samodanova. They have a daughter together named Olivia, who turns six in November 2016.
