Joan was shown embarking on her first week of dates on The Golden Bachelorette, and she appeared to have a fantastic time.
With only 18 bachelors remaining, Joan enjoyed a one-on-one date with Chock Chapple as well as two fun-filled group dates: "Prom Night" and a talent show.
Joan gushed of Chock at the end of their Disneyland date and romantic dinner, "I don't necessarily believe in fate, but this surprises [me]... We both learned from those great loves that we had."
Joan, referencing how she and Chock had both lost a partner to cancer, continued in a confessional. "I just feel really connected to Chock and I feel like a princess. I am so happy and really hopeful!"

Joan also decided to give out group-date roses to her Prom King, Jonathan Rone, and the winner of the talent show, Daniel "Dan" Roemer.
At the second Rose Ceremony of the season, Joan denied roses to Robert "Bob" Kilroy, Christopher Stallworth, John "Jack" Lencioni, and Michael Stevens.
In a preview of what's to come on The Golden Bachelorette, Joan appears to say, "I love you," to The Bachelor 28 alum Kelsey Anderson's dad Mark Anderson.
"I've only been in love with one person -- more than one now," Joan shares in a confessional.
When asked if she can confidently say that she found love on her season, Joan teased to Us Weekly, "The journey ended exactly like it should."

"I feel like I found a lot of love and there's all different kinds of love," she added.
"I feel like every one of these men are going to be in my life forever. We shared really, really intimate things about our lives and we are bonded."
The mother and grandmother therefore concluded that she "found a lot of love" on her special season.
While Joan was hopeful she could leave The Golden Bachelorette with another man of her dreams -- her second true love after her late husband John Vassos -- she recently told People that she didn't necessarily expect to end the process with an engagement ring on her finger.
"I said all along I didn't need to leave engaged," Joan told the magazine, adding how her goal was to return to Maryland in love and "in a committed relationship."
