Grant Kemp has revealed his relationship with Lace Morris post-split is definitely not civil.

Grant admitted he wishes the dynamic was different between the former Bachelor in Paradise couple, who called off their engagement in November 2016.
"I did everything I could to protect her when we did break up," Grant told Us Weekly of Lace. "I put out in the media that it was mutual and was respectful enough to do that. It was a very volatile relationship. I definitely still hope for the best for her."
The San Francisco firefighter and model, who also spends a lot of time in Los Angeles, revealed he has zero contact with Lace now.
"I don't talk to Lace ever," he confessed.

Lace apparently added fuel to the fire when she posted a photo on Instagram last month of herself hanging out with Grant's ex-girlfriend Jen Green, whom he was dating before his appearance on JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette last year.
Lace captioned the picture at the time, "I think #Jace has a better ring to it, don't you @jen.not.jenn?"
As fans recall, Lace and Grant both inked "Grace" -- a combination of their names -- on their wrists during their stint on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise in Summer 2016 to solidify their love for one another and commitment. (Grant has since covered up his tattoo).
"Recently, I've seen that [Lace is] doing some things to try to get my attention," Grant pointed out to the magazine. "She's been hanging out with my ex Jen -- the one who blew me up in the tabloids -- and posting on Instagram. I don't play those Instagram caption games. I'm an adult."
Reports began circulating in May 2016 that Grant dumped Jen, a woman he loved, to search for fame on Season 12 of The Bachelorette.

Jen's friend Erin Aschow wrote a lengthy post on Twitter at the time bashing Grant for allegedly breaking up with the "beautiful, smart, witty, and kind" woman without explanation after applying to compete on the ABC reality dating show. Grant, however, denied the accusations.
As for whether Grant would be up for another Bachelor in Paradise season, he told Us, "If I met the right girl, it would be awesome, but for me, it's that fear of not knowing if that girl will actually be there!"
In January, Lace talked about how she was shocked Grant was able to move on from their romance so fast after he was photographed with a pretty girl outside of a club one night.
"Grant seemed to move on a little bit quicker than I expected him to after our breakup, so I was a little shocked by that. But I took my time for myself, and I am healthy," the former The Bachelor bachelorette said at the time.
