Stefani, 47, was scheduled to perform Thursday as the headlining act for the Keep Memory Alive: Power of Love Gala at the MGM Grand Garden Arena but was forced to cancel due to the injury.

Her entertainment manager Irving Azoff told the Las Vegas Review-Journal the pop star and "The Voice" coach had been admitted into Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

The news was announced about an hour into the show as attendees watched a video of Stefani apologizing for missing the performance.

Singer Jennifer Hudson took the stage to perform in Stefani's place.

Stefani is scheduled to appear live on "The Voice" on Monday.
