During Monday night's The Bachelor premiere, Hannah stepped out of a limo on Night 1 -- but only to return the set of wings Peter had given her when they met on The Bachelorette -- and also hosted a "sex stories" group date, which was derailed when Peter found Hannah crying alone in a room.

An intense and emotional conversation, which also happened to occur on Hannah's 25th birthday, September 24, therefore unfolded about their past.
Hannah was competing on Dancing with the Stars' 28th season at the time she visited Peter while he was filming The Bachelor, and according to a source, that played a big part in her emotional breakdown.

"Hannah got emotional on the episode because she felt overwhelmed from her busy schedule," the source told Us Weekly.
"She felt pressured and she was being pulled in a million different directions from ABC."
Hannah had a difficult time on Dancing with the Stars with her professional partner Alan Bersten because she felt personally attacked by the show's judges for not being more vulnerable and showing the audience all of her layers.
Hannah was also still trying to get over her highly-publicized breakup from aspiring country singer Jed Wyatt, whom the Alabama native dumped five weeks after accepting his marriage proposal because he had lied about the extent of his relationship with another woman prior to filming The Bachelorette.
But that vulnerability the Dancing with the Stars judges were looking for clearly came out during her conversation with Peter on The Bachelor in which she admitted she had unresolved and lingering romantic feelings for him.

The source reportedly said Hannah was feeling "some regrets" about her split from Peter.
"Her main focus was winning Dancing with the Stars, and she was exhausted and seeing Peter heightened all the stress and anxiety she had been feeling at the time," the source explained.
"Hannah was in a good place truly focusing on DWTS, getting confident and happy again after the Jed drama, and she really didn't need this little interruption."
The source additionally told Us seeing Peter again "brought back old feelings that she didn't want to be dealing with."

Hannah and Alan did in fact end up winning Dancing with the Stars' 28th season and its mirrorball trophy in November 2019.
Peter attempted to console his ex as she sobbed in his arms on The Bachelor over her decision to give Jed her final rose and also ask out her runner-up, Tyler Cameron, on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose after she had called it quits on her engagement.
"I broke everybody's heart and my own through this experience," Hannah said in Monday night's episode.
Peter -- who finished third on The Bachelorette's fifteenth season -- was confused about what Hannah wanted from him since she had made it pretty clear he was her third option, but just seeing Hannah again sparked old feelings the pilot had as well.

A part of Peter even wished Hannah would join his lineup of bachelorettes and compete for his heart this time around.
"I can't help how my heart feels. I look at her and I just don't want to stop looking at her and I want to just kiss her and just have had all this work out. And it didn't. And I know it didn't," Peter explained to cameras.
"I just feel like such a jerk because I have such awesome girls here expecting to meet someone that was truly ready to have this work for them as well. And -- I don't know."
The episode ended on a cliffhanger in which Peter and Hannah's conversation will resume in next week's broadcast and viewers will hopefully have more answers about the future of their relationship.
While watching Monday night's episode on the West Coast, Hannah tweeted her reactions to the footage, and she admitted it was very awkward to relive again.
"So that was not a blast at all. It was truly the hardest day -- a day I was not looking forward to reliving," Hannah tweeted.
Hannah also gave a shout-out to Alan at the time.
"Shoutout to @Dance10Alan for teaching me a rumba after this," she tweeted at the pro. "That we survived that week was truly a victory."
The Bachelor will continue to air on Monday nights at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
